The most wonderful time of the year

I’m on a cleanse. Again.

I like a clean shop, and that includes my liver, colon, kidneys and adipose tissue. So twice a year (in Spring and in Fall, and occasionally in the 2 weeks leading up to a major event) I do the 12 day Wild Rose Herbal D-Tox. (It’s just occurred to me that I’m D-Toxing, not detoxing, hmmm…)

I’m currently on day 11 of the 12 day cleanse which puts wine, beer, soy sauce, dairy, sugar and flour on the contraband list. Which means I’m eating a lot of brown rice and onions, which is very healthy for you by the way! I’m not very good with being denied access to anything (which could explain my general moodiness about 10 days ago … hmmm)

Two lightbulbs in one blog post? The D-Tox is working!!

Love Lucie

Funny what we can accomplish when we put our minds to things. I, for instance could never ever do one day of this cleanse – a day without caffeine, dairy, chocolate, and alcohol is a day not worth living to me; but sign me up for a marathon any day! Kudos to you for surviving this.

You pick your own poison, I guess. It would seem that I am into denying myself of life’s oral pleasures, while you choose go wear sandals without toenails? I loved this post, keep on trucking! http://reganrants.wordpress.com/2010/11/23/my-first-marathon-warning-not-a-success-story/
