I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. But most of all, I am me.
I’m a 40-something woman who grew up on orange Pic-a-Pop and s’mores, chasing love and fortune (in that order) all over the world through 1990’s. Now I chase my 3 sons, or more specifically, ferry them around, smothering them with love and buttered toast (they hate peanut butter and jelly – it sometimes makes me wonder if they’re even mine). I used to worry about billable hours, but now I worry about what I will do with myself and my expensive MBA once the kids are all in school full-time (egad – just 6 months to go). Maybe I’ll adopt a baby from Malawi?
For now, I write. I hope you enjoy the love!
Love Lucie
Hi Lucie:
I came via Deanna at A Mother’s Tonic…really enjoying your blog…I have subscribed.
I’m a 40-something (at least for five more months) mom of three daughters, stepmom of a daughter and son, and gramma of one little girl. I co-own an antiquarian bookstore in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Looking forward to reading more of your work…
Wendy
Hi Lucie!! How is it as your ‘sort of’ Sis-in-Law….I never knew about this wonderful writing you do!
Very enjoyable and very real!!! Just great!
Love it!! Carolyn in Ontario! 😉
Well, who knew an email exchange regarding our mutual friend Coryn would lead me to such a delightful read with a laugh along the way! Thoughtful, relatable and uplifting. Thanks for sharing yourself.
That’s so nice of you to say Julia! Looking forward to seeing you tonight!
